C-Sert™ Permanent Thread Repair - Heavy Wall
PCS Company offers C-Sert™ Thread Repair - Heavy Wall inserts to be used for permanent thread repair for platens or equipment. The C-Sert can be considered a precision tap that are self aligning and self tapping. The patented design of the C-Sert allows for faster installation and chip removal due to the design of the cutting surfaces. Kit options are available with or without the corresponding drill bit to make the low torque installation fast and easy using either a medium duty impact driver or hand tool. Select from either inch threads ranging from 5/8" - 11 to 1 1/4" - 7 or metric threads ranging from M16 x 2.0 to M30 x 3.5. C-Serts are suitable for most repairs of OEM threaded holes and they are thick enough to replace failed Heli-Coils, Keenserts, E-Z Lok, Hole Savers and other brands of thread repair.
