Eleda i-MET
marries innovative engineering standards, high quality components, and Bluetooth™ wireless technology together to provide a solution to an all too common problem; inaccurate and/or incomplete marking of plastic parts. The i-MET line of data inserts not only molds the date or serial number directly into the part, it also updates that information automatically. If the information changes automatically and accurately, the molder can dedicate their time to more pressing issues. By molding this information directly into a plastic part, molders can eliminate the need for secondary operations like printing or etching.
Track when parts are molded to within one minute intervals. Provide each molded part with its own serial number. Easy to design, install, and use. Control with in-mold control unit or wirelessly with a Bluetooth enabled PDA or laptop computer. Achieve “True Part Traceability”
